The Edinburgh University Trading and Investment Club (EUTIC) is proud to be supporting the 2009 Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show.
Hailed "Europe's most successful student-run fashion show", the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show is set to impress the unimpressionable by creating a revolution in fashion. With five rousing years behind it, ECFS is now entering its sixth consecutive year, having raised over £200,000 in the past. ECFS 09 now aim to raise this figure substantially. The prestige and professionalism of ECFS over the past five years has shown continuous growth. This year it will continue this upward trend, by showcasing some of the most innovative, highly regarded and revolutionary designers, in front of an array of Britain's A-list and some captivating forms of entertainment.
EUTIC is Edinburgh University's largest society, and the owner of the UK's largest student-run investment fund. Our goals are to educate students about the world of finance, give them real-life experience in trading stocks, offer opportunities to network with some of the world's most prestigious investment firms, and should they be interested, help them pursue careers in the financial services industry. Our alumni have gone on to work at globally-recognised firms such as Goldman Sachs, Schroders, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and J.P. Morgan. Despite our propensity for investing in financial markets, we realise that philanthropy is the most important investment one can make and are delighted to be supporting the worthwhile causes chosen by ECFS 2009.
